Marketing Student Organizations

It is especially important to get involved in a professional organization associated with your major. This will provide you with networking opportunities with professionals in the field, better equipping you for life beyond the classroom.

Camp Carey Student Facilitator

Camp Carey is an intensive three-day retreat for incoming W. P. Carey freshmen held at the beginning of the fall semester in northern Arizona. It gives you the opportunity to connect with fellow students, faculty, staff and alumni through a variety of interactive – and fun -- activities.

One of the most important elements of Camp Carey is the interaction between freshmen and older W. P. Carey School of Business students. Student facilitators are responsible for guiding a group of freshmen students through Camp Carey. Facilitators are provided with meals, lodging, transportation, training and materials.

ASU 101 Facilitators

ASU 101 is a required student-success course. Facilitating ASU 101 allows you to gain valuable public speaking and leadership experience while perfecting your communication skills. You will have a unique opportunity to help and guide incoming freshmen by sharing your ASU experiences with them.

This program also encourages you to develop relationships with staff, faculty and your peers within the W. P. Carey School of Business. Facilitators receive three hours of upper-division business elective credit for WPC 394.
