Fall 2013
The Department of Marketing announces four new programs for undergraduate students to supplement their studies and that will launch in Fall 2013.
Marketing Majors: The Concentration in Digital and Integrated Marketing Communications is designed for the marketing major, and will provide specialized knowledge and training in the areas of advertising, brand management, and digital marketing.
BS Majors in W.P. Carey: The Certificate in Sports Business is designed for the BS undergraduate student in the W.P. Carey School of Business who is interested in deepening their knowledge in the sports business domain.
Non-business Majors: The Certificate in Sales and Marketing Essentials is designed for the undergraduate non-business student to enhance the value of their ASU degree by providing specific training in sales and marketing. Several courses will be offered in the online format.
BIS Majors: A Concentration in Sales and Marketing Essentials is designed for BIS students and will include several courses offered in an online format for flexibility and convenience.

The Department of Marketing launches knowMKT! knowMKT is a newsletter of the W. P. Carey Marketing Department designed to build awareness of our world-class marketing department across a broad set of constituents. In each edition, knowMKT will highlight faculty research, include stories about our students and alumni, and will feature articles about our connections with our business partners. The inaugural edition features the Center for Services Leadership, Professor Sungho Park's and Professor Michael Wiles' recent research, and the lead article celebrates our most recent faculty emerti – Vince Blasko, Steve Brown, and Don Jackson.
Fall 2012
The Department of Marketing is pleased to announce the addition of our newest faculty member, Detra Montoya, Clinical Associate Professor. Professor Montoya will teach both undergraduate and graduate marketing courses. Detra has a PhD from ASU, WPC School of Business in Marketing. She comes to us from University of Washington.
The Department of Marketing also welcomes David Albert as a Lecturer to the faculty. Professor Albert will teach the undergraduate marketing advertising courses. Professor Albert joins us from Kennesaw State University.
