Today's ethical and responsible leaders must be effective team builders. The leaders of companies that are succeeding in the new global marketplace also must possess excellent written and oral communication skills and extensive experience in guiding collaborative teams. The management major is at the leading edge with its strong emphasis on collaboration, leadership, communication, team building, project management, business ethics, corporate social responsibility, strategic management and community engagement.
Within the management major, there is an optional concentration in entrepreneurship. Students learn the fundamentals of entrepreneurial business management, including creating a detailed business plan.
