The Instructional Development Group is dedicated to working with W.P. Carey faculty to integrate technology into traditional courses. Whether the course is delivered
‘on-ground’ in classroom environments or totally online, current web-delivered instructional materials enhance the learning experience with online course materials, interactive multimedia and online discussions. We provide assistance with online courses for undergraduate programs and all MBA platforms at the W. P. Carey School of Business.
Services
Our team is available to provide the following services upon request:
- Consulting on course design, group projects, and discussion forums
- Designing and producing online course materials
- fully-integrated online courses
- web-based videos (we have our own video production team and facilities)
- screening exams
- Setting up courses in Blackboard
- Uploading rosters and documents into Blackboard
- Help with grade books, quizzes, and surveys
- Use our online form to request a Blackboard course
We provide many of these services at a distance, using telephone and email as appropriate, and also meet faculty in their offices or ours. Over time, we establish wonderful relationships with faculty and get to understand their unique situations. This enables us to offer relevant suggestions and solutions that meet the faculty’s needs.
