SDC
Platinum is a financial transactions database which covers
capital market, M&A, and private equity activity. The
College of Business currently holds a limited license and
therefore not all data items will be available. To view more

1. Who can use SDC and how do I get access?
SDC is available for our research users. For more
information, contact dan.hayden@asu.edu
2. Is there any documention available for SDC?
Yes. A user manual is available in PDF format. It can be
accessed from SDC's help menu.
3. I tried to connect to SDC but nothing happened. What is
wrong?
SDC has a simultaneous user limit. When the limit is reach,
additional connections are refused. If this occurs, the status
lights on the bottom right corner of the application window
will stop blinking and turn green.
