The Department of Information Systems is pleased to announce that it will again host four seminars during the 2009-2010 academic year as part of their Master of Science in Information Management (MSIM) program. These sessions will be held on Saturday mornings and will incorporate presentations from industry leaders to explore issues critical to today's IT managers. Students, alumni, industry leaders and faculty are invited to attend these sessions to explore the topics and learn together how we can better compete in today's environment.
This year's Saturday Executive Seminar series is designed to focus on Business Transformation through IT. Leading experts will speak about how their companies have strategically used IT to transform major aspects of their businesses for building a competitive advantage in their industries. We hope to stress not just the importance of technology, but also the entire cycle of innovating, deploying, and propagating the innovations through the organization that allows it to leapfrog and stay ahead in its industry.
