Evaluation Process

The Admissions Committee evaluates applications using a portfolio approach and considers a candidate's previous academic performance, test scores, work experience, personal essays and letters of recommendation. The strongest applicants possess relevant work experience. The evaluation for admission is on a competitive basis. The doctoral committee in the Department of Information Systems will review each candidate’s profile. Strong academic credentials, intellectual curiosity and commitment are important criteria for admission to ensure a good fit between the student's goals and the department. A phone or campus interview is required for potential candidates.
