GMAT
The Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) is a computer-adaptive test (CAT) which measures general verbal, mathematical and analytical writing skills.
This computer-based standardized test serves as a uniform standard of measurement for applicants. It is non-business specific and tests for one's general verbal, mathematical and analytical writing skills. The GMAT is given entirely in English, and all instructions are provided in English.
If you are applying for admission into the W. P. Carey School’s doctoral program for fall, you should plan to take the test no later than two weeks prior to the supporting materials submission deadline of February 1. Official GMAT scores must be sent to the W. P. Carey Doctoral Program at ASU by PearsonVUE, and may take a minimum of two weeks during peak periods to be received. GMAT scores are valid for a period of five years.
Retaking the GMAT
If you choose or are requested to retake the GMAT, please notify the W. P. Carey Doctoral program in writing (postal or e-mail) of your intended test date. The highest test score reported will be used in evaluation of your credentials by the designated faculty admissions committee. Failure to provide an official GMAT score by February 1, will result in an “incomplete” application and will not go forth for committee review.
To request an official GMAT score report, please contact PearsonVUE at 1-800-717-GMAT (4628) or 1-952-681-3680.
The ASU – W. P. Carey School of Business, Doctoral Program Code is: 0GZ-1R-18
