Focused on an increasing industry need for the most highly qualified graduates, the Division of Real Estate provides the research and experience-based expertise necessary to understand and solve diverse and complex investment and development challenges in the contemporary real estate industry.
The members of our real estate faculty bring real-world applications to the classroom, and are highly regarded locally and worldwide in the field of commercial and residential real estate development and investment. The Master of Real Estate Development is a collaboration among the W. P. Carey School of Business, the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts

Research
Through the division’s Center for Real Estate Theory and Practice, professors from the Department of Finance develop tools that provide valuable and timely residential and commercial market information for realtors, developers, home owners and news media.
