| Emil Barberich had a distinguished career in the insurance industry and serving the people of Arizona. Mr. Barberich spent 43 years in the insurance industry before retiring in 1973. During that time he served in various capacities with the London and Lancashire Insurance Company (Royal Insurance Group) including managing Royal’s Phoenix branch. Mr. Barberich joined the ADOI as Chief Deputy Director and Supervisor of Property and Casualty Rates. He formally retired from ADOI in 1982 but continued to work as a contract market conduct examiner until 1986. He then assumed the “Hotline Monitor”, established to assist consumers unable to find coverage, and continued in this role until 1995. During his tenure with ADOI, Mr. Barberich helped a countless number of individuals and businesses find insurance. |
