Economic Club of Phoenix

purpose

The Economic Club of Phoenix (ECP) was founded in January 1985 by the Dean’s Council of 100, a group of prominent business executives, in conjunction with the ASU College of Business. The club is designed to enhance discussion of economic and business issues among academic, business, labor and public sectors in the Phoenix metropolitan area.

ECP membership represents a “who’s who” of business leadership in the Valley. ECP members are the leaders and voices of the top businesses and organizations in the Phoenix area and beyond.

Attracting such industry headliners as Alan Mulally, Herb Kelleher, Meg Whitman, Michael Dell, J.W. Marriott, Sally Ride, Milton Friedman, Steve Forbes and Craig Barrett, the Economic Club’s monthly luncheons have become part of the on-going business dialogue for the Southwest region’s economy.
