   Economics Department Degree Programs
Undergraduate Programs
Economics is offered with a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Science in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in theW. P. Carey School of Business. Planning is important since degree requirements are quite specific and differ for each college. Economics faculty and course descriptions are the same for all three programs.

Master of Science Program
The Department of Economics is currently re-evaluating the MS Economics Program (including the dual MS/MBA Economics Program) and is suspending new admissions. No students will be admitted for enrollment in August 2004, January 2005, August 2005 or January 2006. New admission to the MS Program may not occur until August 2006, at the earliest. Doctoral Degree Program
The Ph.D. program is designed for students interested in teaching and conducting research at four year institutions of higher education, as well as those interested in research in public agencies or private business organizations.

NOTE:
The ASU Department of Economics is located administratively in the W. P. Carey School of Business. The baccalaureate degree in Economics is offered in both the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and the W. P. Carey School of Business.
