McGinnity Wins Truman Scholarship
Megan McGinnity has won a $30,000 Truman Scholarship. The scholarship is the nation's highest undergraduate leadership award and is given to about 75 college juniors annually who show outstanding leadership potential and the intent to pursue careers in public service.
Following graduation in May 2008, McGinnity plans to enter a joint master's program in economics and foreign service at Georgetown University.
In addition to funding for graduate school, the Truman award includes a summer internship with a federal agency in Washington.
Rogerson named ASU Regents' Professor

Richard Rogerson and Michael Keane, ASU Goldwater Chair 2003-2005, ASU Research Fellow 2005-present, were elected as Fellows of the Econometric Society.
