I currently work as the Manager of Web Information Systems for the W. P. Carey School of Business, where I have worked in various roles since 2005. I received a BFA in computer animation from Bowling Green State University in 2004 and am currently working on a Masters in Technology at ASU. Prior to ASU, I worked at several “.com” sites including cardSupply.com and OurVacationStore.com. I have diverse interests in art, photography, music, analytics, and evolving technology.
In my current role I manage a small team of technical developers who keep our website, content management system, and many custom web applications running. Our team now supports over 1 million lines of code and over 70 custom web applications for the school. Our applications range from online appointment scheduling, to enrollment checklists, to peer evaluations and more. I pioneered the use of Google Analytics for the school and personally developed many of the core applications including “Tracking, Appointment Scheduling, Blackboard Help Tool, Card Scanner, Advising S.O.S., my.wpcarey, Honors Thesis, Petitions" and more.
I have been a featured artist in many publications including “Home&Abroad”, “3D Café”, “Maxon”, and “Marquiss Films” to name a few. I have worked on research for The Ohio State University in the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle field in 2005. I also worked on research for Bowling Green State University in the area of Motion Capture in 2004. My current research is in the area of mobile application development strategies and usability.
