During this academic year of 2009-2010 HBA gave 16 scholarships at an estimated value of $90,000.00 to deserving students pursuing a business degree at Arizona State University.
This year the HBA scholarship application will be available in December 1, 2009 and it is due on February 1, 2010.

HBA Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
- Be admitted to Arizona State University as a full-time undergraduate degree-seeking student pursing a business degree. Incoming freshmen are also eligible for this scholarship.
- Be an Arizona resident for tuition purposes (residency is determined at the time of application to ASU).
- Your scholarship may not be combined with ASU institutional merit scholarships.
- Cumulative GPA above 2.5
- Maintain enrollment as a full-time undergraduate student.
- Volunteer at HBA sponsored community service events (minimum of 20 hours a semester), including one or more of the following: HBA/Budweiser Shootout, HBA Casino Night.
- Your scholarship may be used toward your educational expenses including tuition and fees, housing, books and other costs of attendance.

Last Spring, HBA was pleased to award scholarships to Hispanic business students based on academic achievement , extracurricular activities, community involvement, and financial need.
