MTAX Prerequisites
Candidates entering the Master of Taxation (MTAX) degree program should possess coursework that comprises a common body of knowledge in business. Students with an undergraduate accounting or finance degree will have likely fulfilled a large number of the prerequisites. All prerequisites must be completed prior to entering the MTAX program. In general, work experience cannot be used as a substitute for most prerequisites.
All international transcripts must be submitted to the Graduate College and prerequisite coursework will be determined at the time of application.

Preference is given to candidates who have an undergraduate accounting or finance degree.
