Message from the Director

Welcome to the ASU School of Accountancy. We are home to 40 full-time faculty and staff and have literally thousands of alumni around the world. Our Web site connects you to a vibrant and diverse collection of scholarly publications and working papers by our faculty. This work represents relevant and timely research on auditing, information systems, financial accounting, managerial and tax policy issues.

In addition, our faculty and staff serve approximately 875 undergraduate accounting majors and more than 125 graduate students in our Master of Accountancy and Master of Taxation programs. We also have an active Ph.D. program with 10 students in residence and a large alumni base on the faculty of premier institutions of higher education around the world.

Our programs continue to be ranked in the top 25 by such publications as U.S. News & World Report, The Public Accounting Report and "America's Best Graduate Schools."

We enjoy an outstanding relationship with the public accounting community and a broad spectrum of firms and government agencies that employ our graduates. Our Professional Advisory Board enables us to better serve our constituents and keep our programs relevant to our rapidly changing profession.
