Staff Accountant 

Two Brothers Distributing, Inc. 

Description: 
To assist Accounting department with daily input, month-end close and preparation of financial Statements.


Essential functions:

  • Enter transactions into QuickBooks using daily paperwork from multiple locations.
  • Enter vendor bills into QuickBooks.
  • Reconcile bank accounts.
  • Prepare payroll and sales tax returns.
  • Should be familiar with QuickBooks or similar accounting programs.
  • Must be proficient using Excel including the use of formulas.
  • Must be very detail oriented.
  • Must have good communication skills.
  • Must be a self starter with a desire to succeed.

Requirements: 
Recent graduate in Accounting (BS – Accountancy).

Internships

Phoenix Art Museum

Description:
To assist Accounting department with year-end close and preparation for annual audit.
Essential functions:

  1. Reconcile bank accounts for all support organizations.
  2. Assist in reconciliation of endowment fund balances.
  3. Maintain depreciation schedule for fixed assets throughout the year.

Requirements:
Undergraduate or recent graduate in Accounting or related field. Intern should have completed university coursework in Accounting to include at a minimum “Financial Accounting and Reporting” (300 level) or equivalent. Coursework in Managerial Accounting a plus. This internship requires a background check.

Tax Consultant Intern


SPEC is the outreach and education function of Internal Revenue Service's Wage and Investment Division. Its approach is to combine resources and goals with other organizations for better access to lower
income populations in local communities.

SPEC's mission shares the strategies of many community organizations in
that it strives to assist taxpayers in satisfying their tax responsibiities by building and maintaining partnerships with key stake holders, seeking to create and share value by informing, educating, and communicating with our shared customers.

SPEC is hiring students for the SCEP program. In order to apply, you must provide your resume, all unofficial transcripts and Form DD214 if applicable to recruiterandover@irs.gov.
