Graduate Admission Policy for ASU Accountancy Students
The School of Accountancy is pleased to announce a new Graduate admissions policy specifically tailored for students who demonstrate a high level of performance in the undergraduate Accounting program at ASU. Under this policy, undergraduate Accounting students with strong academic credentials may qualify for waiver from the School of Accountancy's specific application requirements for the Master of Accounting and Master of Taxation programs.
Specifically, students who meet the following requirements:
- 3.0 cumulative GPA at the time of application submission, AND
- 3.0 ACC GPA (300 & 400 level ACC courses only) at the time of application submission
will be eligible for the following privileges:
- GMAT waiver
- Application fee reimbursement
- Letters of recommendation not required
- Essays not required
- Resume not required
All that will be required of the qualified students who choose to apply to our Masters programs, are the following:
- Submit an application with the Graduate College online at https://sec.was.asu.edu/dgsadmissions/Index.jsp (the fee paid by the student at this time will be reimbursed by way of credit to the student's account upon enrollment in either the MACC or MTAX program in the Fall). This application must be submitted by January 15th in order to qualify for the application fee reimbursement.
