The Spirit of Enterprise Center's "Food for Thought" Series is an informal, lunch time series of discussions of topics important to entrepreneurial success. These are presented in concert with our sponsor for this year's events, AIR Marketing.
Our next event is: Coping with the Credit Crunch. Our panel of experts will address, via an interactive Q & A sessions with the audience, the current status of the financial markets and steps you can take to improve your odds
Confirmed Panelists:
· Phillip P. Guttilla, Corporate Attorney, Ryley Carlock & Applewhite. Phil helps businesses of all sizes with issues ranging from mergers and acquisitions, raising capital through debt and equity offerings, and intellectual property protection.
· Laura Lindsey, Assistant Professor of Finance at the W. P. Carey School of Business of Arizona State University. Professor Lindsey teaches Entrepreneurial Finance at the MBA level as well as Managerial Finance for undergraduates.
· Dr. John Shufeldt, CEO of NextCare Urgent Care, a highly successful group of urgent care facilities with multi-state operations. John is a serial entrepreneur who has experienced the vagaries of the credit markets over a number of credit cycles.
· Gary Naumann, Director of the Spirit of Enterprise Center and Lecturer in Entrepreneurship in the Management Department of the W. P. Carey School of Business. Gary will moderate this session and provide his own perspective based on a background in banking/corporate finance.
