Hispanic Business Alumni (HBA)

The mission of the Hispanic Business Alumni Chapter is to provide means to achieve academic success for Hispanic business undergraduates at Arizona State University through solid and creative fundraising activities in support of Hispanic Business Alumni scholarships and professional development of its members and the community it serves.

Hispanic Business Alumni Chapter’s vision is to become the preferred source of scholarships and leadership development for undergraduate Hispanic business students at Arizona State University.

  • How does the HBA Chapter add value to our community?
    • Provide multicultural workshops/events
    • Offer service to a company
    • Become more inclusive
    • Be liaisons/ambassadors for other groups.

Our Objectives Are:

  • Provide scholarships to Hispanic business undergraduates at Arizona State University.
  • Develop solid fundraising activities/events in support of HBA Scholarships
  • Serve as a resource to Hispanic business students at Arizona State University.
  • Establish strong ties and communications with Hispanic Alumni members.
  • Build involvement in the Hispanic community.

History

HBA was founded in 1982 by a group of Hispanic graduates of the W. P. Carey School of Business at ASU. Today, HBA is one of the most active alumni chapters at ASU and is recognized as a leading support organization for Hispanic students, alumni and the W. P. Carey School of Business at ASU.
